PlayMazeBase is built so you can walk a maze without creating an account or uploading a save file. Seeds, difficulty prefs, theme choice, and sound preference live in this browser when we use storage at all. Clear the site data and that local gossip leaves with it. We don’t keep a cloud scrapbook of which dead ends you liked.
What may stay on your device
- Current seed and difficulty so a refresh doesn’t erase the maze you were mid-walk on
- Theme (light desk / dark desk) and whether you turned sound on
- PWA install dismiss preference, if you use Install and wave it away
- Ordinary browser cache for pages and assets after a visit
There is no “maze identity” login, no social wall, and no requirement to enable notifications before the first step.
Analytics
Google Analytics may run when configured (G-Y8G7GES0V7). We use it to see whether pages load and which doors get used — not to invent a personality profile from your left turns. Questions: contact@playmazebase.com.
Ads
When ads are enabled, reserved slots sit below the board and controls — never covering the maze grid, never dressed up as Generate or New maze. Early builds may show a quiet placeholder while vendor scripts aren’t live yet. If a real network is wired later, that vendor may set its own cookies under its policy; we’ll name the partners here when they ship. An ad sitting on the walls is a bug — mail us.
What we don’t do
- Sell “your maze history” as a product
- Require an account to generate, walk, or print
- Ship an install package pretending the browser game isn’t enough
If something on this page looks stale after vendors change, say so at contact@playmazebase.com.
